Met up with a friend I haven't seen in years. We decided on Steven's based on the reviews and we weren't disappointed! Food was excellent as was the service. They let us hang out for a long time so we could catch up. I would definitely recommend this place for a tasty meal in a friendly place. Prices were reasonable and you get a break if you pay in cash.
Really enjoyed this place. I had the corned beef hash skillet which was good. Not the best corned beef, but good. Didn't love the hash browns, but they were fine. Frittata was very tasty and the Denver omelette he said was a 9. Pancakes were good. Lots of food.
My boyfriend and I love this place. Super delicious, affordable, great service, all around awesome. We normally come for breakfast and there's always a place to sit right away.

Steven's has been in Downers Grove for decades. My husband and I stopped by for breakfast. The restaurant was clean, the booths were comfortable. The waitress was efficient and provided the menu, coffee, water with very little wait time. The food came quickly and warm. I ordered the basic egg and bacon that came with pancakes. I selected the fruit instead of the hash browns. Everything was perfect! I was pleasantly surprised. Eggs cooked medium, bacon crisp, pancakes were good had Some flavor not gummy, warm syrup served in glass syrup dispenser! Details!!! My husband had eggs and ham with Greek toast. He loved it. The only issue was the hash browns could have been a more cooked, a little raw tasting. Coffee was great and refilled! Bravo! We will be back!
